# Human design checklist (28 checks)

Run this on any AI-built page, dashboard, artifact or slide before you show it to anyone. Each "no" is a fix. Score it: 25+ is ship-ready.

## Decisions (before pixels)
1. [ ] I can name the exact reader and the one action this screen exists for.
2. [ ] There's a reference outside the SaaS-template world, and the design visibly borrows from it.
3. [ ] All copy is real or marked `[ADD: ...]`. Zero lorem ipsum, zero invented stats, logos or testimonials.

## Typography
4. [ ] Max 2 font families.
5. [ ] Sizes come from one scale (4–5 sizes used, not 9).
6. [ ] Headings have tight line-height (≤1.2); body 1.5–1.7.
7. [ ] Body lines are ≤75 characters wide.
8. [ ] Sentence case on headings and buttons.
9. [ ] Hierarchy is clear when you squint: one thing reads first.

## Spacing and layout
10. [ ] Every spacing value is a multiple of 4 or 8.
11. [ ] Space inside groups is smaller than space between groups.
12. [ ] Left edges align down the page.
13. [ ] Body text is left-aligned (centered only for very short lines).
14. [ ] Sections vary in density; they aren't all the same height.
15. [ ] Works at 375px wide with no horizontal scroll.

## Color and surfaces
16. [ ] One accent color, used for the main action and ≤2 highlights per screen.
17. [ ] No purple/blue gradient hero, no blurred blobs, no gradient text.
18. [ ] Glass/blur effects: none, or one with a clear reason.
19. [ ] Neutrals are slightly tinted, not default pure gray.
20. [ ] Body text contrast ≥ 4.5:1 (check with any contrast checker).
21. [ ] One radius family; shadows (if any) are one consistent style.

## Icons and imagery
22. [ ] One icon set, one stroke, consistent sizes. No emoji as UI icons.
23. [ ] Every icon carries meaning; decorative ones removed.
24. [ ] Images are real (product screenshots, real photos) or clearly marked placeholders. No handshake stock.

## Copy
25. [ ] Headline is a specific outcome, ideally with a number.
26. [ ] Buttons are verb + object ("Start 14-day trial"), not "Get started" / "Learn more".
27. [ ] Copy passes the Slop Checker at 80+.
28. [ ] Not one sentence could be pasted unchanged onto a competitor's page.
